Our Intro-to-Competition Team!

Ages 5-10 (as of 7/31/25) · No Experience Needed · Starts January 2026

First Gear is our beginner-friendly cheer team designed to introduce athletes to the world of competitive cheer, with the perfect mix of fun, fitness, and friendship.

This is the perfect first step into competitive cheer without the commitment of a year-round team.

Turning the Gears: General Practice Schedule

♥ Mondays 4:30-6 PM ♥

♥ Practices start January 5, 2026 ♥

♥ Planned Break - March 29-April 3 ♥

This group will have 1-2 extra practices per month in a gym to practice on a competition mat. While we do our best to keep these on Saturdays and in the morning, we occasionally have to take an afternoon slot or a Sunday. We will get these dates and times out as soon as we have them. These practices absolutely cannot be missed.

Fueling the Forge: Pricing and Payment Schedule

To make things more manageable for families, registration payments are spaced out over the course of the competition season. Registration includes 4 months of hands-on training, 1 practice shirt & bow, and 1 competition entry fee. Families will participate in fundraising to cover additional competition fees.

Payment breakdown is as follows:

♥ $200 deposit due December 15 to secure a spot on the team ♥

♥ $75 due the 1st of each month from January - April ♥

Team Threads: Uniforms

Uniforms are currently in the design phase, and final pricing will be shared as soon as possible.

Our goal is to keep costs in the $150-$175 range.
