DD Cheer Factory founder and owner Denise DeLorenzo is passionate about making cheerleading accessible to athletes who want to participate. Competitive cheer has a reputation for being expensive, and the costs associated with the sport can quickly become a significant financial burden for families.

From the beginning, DD Cheer Factory has been committed to keeping program fees as affordable as possible. However, competitive cheer involves expenses that extend far beyond the day-to-day costs of operating a program. Rather than simply passing those additional costs along to families, Denise wanted to create another way to help.

In 2024, she founded DD Cheer Gemstones, a nonprofit organization created to help alleviate the financial burden of competitive cheer and expand opportunities for athletes to participate in the sport they love.

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized and operated for the charitable purpose of supporting opportunities for cheerleaders at DD Cheer Factory. We believe cheerleading should be accessible and affordable to all youth athletes who want to participate. We are a separate legal entity from DD Cheer Factory, but we work hand in hand to help our DD Cheer Factory cheerleaders and their families offset the cost of activities related to competitive cheerleading so they can continue to participate in the sport they love. In addition to providing fundraising opportunities and scholarships for our athletes, we help maintain the financial viability and sustainability of the organization through general fundraisers.
