ABOUT US

DD Cheer Factory was founded in 2024 by Denise DeLorenzo, Owner and Executive Coach, after 12 years of coaching Pop Warner cheer. Denise created DD Cheer Factory to pursue her vision of building an independent youth cheerleading program for cheerleaders and families looking for something different in the cheer industry. We are a youth cheerleading program based in East County San Diego. Our goal is to foster a life-giving community that brings fun, light, and a playful spirit back into the cheer world.

Our mission is to develop strength, confidence, and discipline in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment, while promoting the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and good sportsmanship. Our program emphasizes character growth alongside skill development as we strive to raise up well-rounded cheerleaders who have the courage to lead with integrity both on and off the mat.

No experience is necessary to join our program as we believe cheer should be accessible to all those who want an opportunity to learn. We view each athlete as a distinct individual with unique abilities that enhance the team as a whole. We provide an environment in which athletes feel secure, but challenged to move out of their comfort zone where they can experience success and develop confidence. Experience has shown us that skill development accelerates when the heart and mind of the athlete is nurtured.

Denise DeLorenzo

Founder • Owner • Executive Coach

Coach Denise has been coaching youth cheer since 2012, developing athletes, building teams, creating routines, and helping young cheerleaders grow both on and off the mat.

After over a decade of coaching in Pop Warner, Denise founded DD Cheer Factory in 2024 to create the kind of youth cheer program she believed was missing. She envisioned a program where strong technique and high standards go hand in hand with encouragement, character development, and a genuine understanding that every athlete brings something valuable to the team.

Denise loves breaking skills down into clear, teachable progressions and helping athletes understand not just what to do, but how and why it works. Her coaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that great teams aren't built around one standout athlete. They're built when athletes with different strengths, abilities, and roles learn to work together toward a common purpose.
